In August 2007, under the
direction of the Holy Spirit, Rev. Teresa B. Hicks established The Tabernacle Shalom Worship Center Inc.
The Tabernacle Shalom
Worship Center held its first Sunday worship service on October 7, 2007. In November 2007 The Tabernacle Shalom
Worship Center registered as a 501c3, tax-exempt agency with the federal government.
The Tabernacle Shalom Worship Center's
foundational scripture is found in Haggai 2:9:
"The glory of this latter house
shall be greater than the former, saith the Lord of Hosts; and in this place will I give peace saith the Lord of Hosts".
This Church
will function as a 'city of refuge'; a place of peace and blessings for those individuals searching for answers and
restoration through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
This Church will provide
a 'safe place' for those in need of healing to come and be made whole.
The Tabernacle
Shalom Worship Center will provide training for ministerial leadership using various ministry training tools. Vocational training
will be provided in-house and by networking with other organizations with like passions.
Come and experience the
saving grace of our Lord, expressive worship and the manifestation of the glory of God.

In the Hebrew
language 'Shalom' means peace, and 'Tabernacle' means dwelling, or what
we would term house. This is the House of Peace. We are certain that you will experience the peace of God
in this House of Worship. As you continue to develop your relationship with God, He will do wondrous things on your behalf.
You will experience the presence of God as never before
in your life. God will show Himself faithful to you.
Stay committed and allow the Lord
to work through you as you endeavor to fulfill your God-given purpose.
"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast,
unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord." (1
Cor. 15:58)
"Being confident of this very thing, that
he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ." (Phil. 1:6)
